Foreigners who have committed crimes, administrative offenses, or other illegal acts on the territory of our country are liable under the laws of the Republic of Belarus.
We warn that measures to expulsion unlawful citizens from the Republic of Belarus may be applied, revocation of a temporary residence permit in the Republic of Belarus, inclusion in the list of persons whose entry into the Republic of Belarus is prohibited or undesirable, for a period of up to 10 years, and for certain violations, up to 30 years.
An exhaustive list of grounds on which a foreigner who has received a permit may have it revoked is provided for in Article 50 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus of January 4, 2010 No. 105-3 «On the legal status of foreign citizens and stateless persons in the Republic of Belarus».
The citizenship and immigration departments of the internal affairs agencies pay special attention to foreigners who violate the legislation of the Republic of Belarus, as well as those who do not have the funds necessary to cover the costs of their stay in the Republic of Belarus and departure from the Republic of Belarus. The absence of such funds may serve as grounds for both refusing to issue a temporary residence permit to a foreigner, and for refusing to issue a temporary residence permit to a foreigner in the Republic of Belarus, as well as for its subsequent cancellation.
To avoid any potential negative consequences associated with the cancellation of the above permit, we recommend that you promptly take steps to find employment in the Republic of Belarus.
When changing the place of temporary residence, a foreigner temporarily residing in the Republic of Belarus is obliged, within three working days, calculated from the date of arrival at the new place of temporary residence, to contact the citizenship and migration department at the new place of temporary residence to make changes to the stamp «temporary residence permit».
Failure to comply with this obligation is an administrative offense, for which liability is provided in the form of a fine.
We remind you of the need to take precautions, protect your personal property and personal safety.
We hope that the information provided will be useful to you and will prevent you from committing actions that may lead to the cancellation of your legal status in the Republic of Belarus and expulsion from the country.
