After arrival to the Republic of Belarus foreign citizen should register in the Migration office. Foreigners have 5 working days for registration after arriving in Belarus. For registration you should come to International Relations Office with ID-passport.

Documents for registration

1. ID-passport;
2. Medical insurance valid for 1 year period;*
3. Receipt of payment for registration;
4. Agreement with hostel or apartment owner;
5. 8 Photos ;
6. Copy of ID-passport translated into Russian or Belarusian and notarized.

Every foreign citizen should accommodate according to the registration address. If you want to change the residence, first of all contact the International Relations office for consultation. Foreigners have 5 working days for changing the address of registration.

To cross the border of the Republic of Belarus, foreign citizens need an entry-exit visa.

on the rules of stay in the territory of the Republic of Belarus

According to the law of the Republic of Belarus «Legal status of foreign citizens and stateless persons in the territory of the Republic of Belarus», foreign students MUST:

• FOLLOW the laws of the Republic of Belarus, for the violations there are penalties, up to deportation!!!!
• FORBIDDEN to approach the border without an exit visa required for legal border crossing and a visa obtained at the Consulate or Embassy!!!! For the violations there are penalties, up to deportation!!!!
• If you have a visa (issued at the Consulate or Embassy), you need to cross the border only at specialized CHECKPOINTS.
• FORBIDDEN to enter the border zone without a special permit obtained from the Border department!!! For the violations there are penalties.
• LIVE only at the registration address (written in your passport!!!). For the violations there are penalties, up to deportation!!!!
• You can change the address FOR FREE!!! BEFORE SIGNING THE CONTRACT, you must come to the International Office and inform about your intention to move. You will receive a notarized copy of your passport required for signing the Contract. Once you have signed the Contract, you must bring the Contract and passport to the International Office ON THE SAME DAY.
• In case of expulsion from the university ON THE SAME DAY, you must report to the International Office for temporary registration and exit visa.
• 3 WEEKS BEFORE THE REGISTRATION DEADLINE (pasted in your passport!!!) you need to come to the International Office to apply for an extension, have a new annual insurance and an apartment contract with you (if you live in an apartment).
• FORBIDDEN to violate the registration deadline!!!! For the violations there are penalties, up to deportation!!!!
• If you want to leave the territory of the Republic of Belarus, you must obtain an EXIT VISA. Contact the International Office to apply for an exit visa.
• FORBIDDEN to violate the internal regulations of the university and the hostel. Punishment – expulsion or eviction from the hostel!!!
• IT IS PROHIBITED to use the territory of the Republic of Belarus for migration to a third country!

Sur les règles de séjour sur le territoire de la République du Belarus

Conformément à la loi de la République de Belarus "Statut juridique des citoyens étrangers et des apatrides sur le territoire de la République de Belarus", les étudiants étrangers DOIVENT:

• SUIVRE les lois de la République de Biélorussie, pour les violations il y a des sanctions, jusqu'à l'expulsion !!!!
• INTERDIT d'approcher la frontière sans le visa de sortie requis pour le passage légal de la frontière et sans le visa obtenu au consulat ou à l'ambassade !!!!Les infractions sont passibles de sanctions pouvant aller jusqu'à l'expulsion !!!!
• Si vous avez un visa (délivré au consulat ou à l'ambassade), vous ne devez franchir la frontière qu'aux POINTS DE CONTROLE spécialisés.
• INTERDIT d'entrer dans la zone frontalière sans permis spécial obtenu auprès du Service des frontières !!! Des sanctions sont prévues en cas d'infraction.
• VIVRE uniquement à l'adresse d'enregistrement (inscrite dans votre passeport !!!). Pour les infractions, il y a des sanctions, jusqu'à l'expulsion !!!!
• Vous pouvez changer l'adresse GRATUITEMENT !!! AVANT DE SIGNER LE CONTRAT, vous devez vous présenter au Bureau International et informer de votre intention de déménager. Vous recevrez une copie notariée de votre passeport nécessaire à la signature du contrat. Une fois que vous avez signé le contrat, vous devez apporter le contrat et le passeport au Bureau international LE MÊME JOUR.
• En cas d'expulsion de l'université LE MÊME JOUR, vous devez vous présenter au Bureau international pour l'enregistrement temporaire et le visa de sortie.
• 3 SEMAINES AVANT LA DATE LIMITE D'INSCRIPTION (collée dans votre passeport !!!) vous devez vous présenter à l'Office international pour demander une prolongation, avoir une nouvelle assurance annuelle et un contrat d'appartement avec vous (si vous vivez dans un appartement).
• INTERDIT de violer le délai d'inscription !!!! Les infractions sont passibles de sanctions pouvant aller jusqu'à expulsion!!!!
• Si vous voulez quitter le territoire de la République de Biélorussie, vous devez obtenir un VISA DE SORTIE. Contactez le Bureau international pour demander un visa de sortie.
• INTERDIT d'enfreindre le règlement intérieur de l'université et du foyer. Punition - expulsion ou expulsion du foyer!
• IL EST INTERDIT d'utiliser le territoire de la République du Bélarus pour la migration vers un autre pays!
