Peshko Valentin Valentinovich

Peshko Valentin Valentinovich, was born in Grodno on April 13, 1983, Belarusian. In 2000 he graduated from secondary school No. 21 in Grodno, in 2005 – the Educational Institution «Grodno State Agrarian University» with a degree in «Zootechnics». After graduating from the University, he worked as a zootechnic breeder in the Experimental Base «Natalyevsk» of the Chervensky district of the Minsk region. In 2006 he graduated from the Master's degree, and in 2009 from the postgraduate course of the Educational Institution «Grodno State Agrarian University». Candidate of Agricultural Sciences (2009), Associate Professor (2015). Since 2009, he has worked at the Educational Institution «Grodno State Agrarian University» as a Leading engineer of the scientific department, Head of the scientific department, Vice-rector for Scientific Work, First Vice-rector.

Research interests – breeding, selection, genetics of agricultural animals. Based on the results of scientific research, he published 115 scientific and methodological works, including 9 monographs, 89 scientific articles, 9 recommendations to production, 6 teaching aids, and received 2 patents for the invention. He has prepared two Masters of Agricultural Sciences.

In 2012, a scholarship of the President of the Republic of Belarus was awarded to talented young scientists in the field of agricultural sciences. In 2014, he was awarded a Certificate of Honor by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus, in 2014, he was awarded a Certificate of Honor by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus, in 2015 a Certificate of Honor by the Grodno Regional Executive Committee, in 2016 a Certificate of Honor by the State Committee for Science and Technology, in 2017 a Certificate of Honor by the Grodno Regional Committee of the Belarusian Professional Union of Agricultural Workers, a Certificate of Honor by the Grodno Regional Council of Deputies, in 2020, a Certificate of Honor by the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus, in 2021, a Certificate of Honor by the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, In 2021, the Gratitude of the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus was announced.
